Wedding Inspiration: The Autumn Edit

Autumn is probably my absolute favourite season for weddings, but sadly its also the shortest! After the manic-ness of summer starts to slowly fade, the temperature drops and I get to dive head fist into the most richly coloured season of the year (and being a red head I can finally step outside again!)

What springs to mind most when you think of Autumnal weddings are the classic stunning shades of rust, burgundy, deep green and mustard. If this is your vibe then please enquire immediately as that is my all time favourite. However, there is so much more to Autumn than meets the eye, and the possibilities for your wedding flowers & colour schemes are truly endless. This blog is here to give you a little spark of inspiration if you are starting to plan your Autumnal wedding!

Autumn Sunshine:

This mood board encompasses some of the classic colours you'd typically assosiate with Autumn. These rich shades look amazing in almost any setting and are sure to get your guests saying 'wow!' As an added bonus, these warm shades look great on everyone and are very flattering in photos!

Earth Tones:

For the couples that want a much more nuetral, toned down version of Autumn Sunshine- but still keeping to many of those classic warm shades. Although still super rich and interesting to look at, we would choose to leave out some of those very bold shades and opt for an earthier vcoloru pallette.

Autumn Blush:

Autumn doesnt have to be all about the orange! Shades of pink, burgandy, ivory and peach have just as much place in this season, and can still eminate those warm fuzzy vibes.

A Dash of 'Something Blue'

I think a truly beautiful way to incorporate your something blue is within your flowers (although I might be biased). Blue is sometimes overlooked during Autumn and Winter, and more commonly asked for with Spring & Summer weddings- but here are some examples of just why you should reconsider this colour! Royal Blue can add a richness to your colour pallete, and pale blue can soften it to give you some cool tones, and both work perfectly with more traditional autumn sahdes.

Here i've given  you a tiny bit of inspiration, mood boards of weddings I have loved working on. However, Autumn weddings come in all shapes, sizes and colours- so basically, do whatever you want!
