Pantone Colour of the Year- Peach Fuzz

Photo supplied by Pantone.

Peach Fuzz

Last month, Pantone announced it's 'colour of the year 2024'- naming Peach Fuzz as this year's winner.

Whether couples realise it or not, the Pantone colour of the year has a surprisingly big affect on wedding trends. The year 'ultraviolet' was named, we saw our biggest year ever for shades of lilac and purple! Peach is such a pretty and versitile flower, which can shine on its own, as well as beautifully compliment other colour palettes. Keep reading for some of my favourite ways to incorporate peach flowers into your wedding theme.

There are lots of different ways to incorporate the colour peach into your colour palette, from classic to wacky- here are some of my favourites.

Peaches & Cream

Pastel Peach & Pink

Peach & Blue

Earth Tones

Bright & Funky

Autumnal

Peach Rose Varieties

I couldn't possibly list them all, as there are absolutely thousands! However here are some of my absolute favourites for wedding flowers.

  • David Austin, Juliet
  • Vuvuzela
  • Pear Avalanche
  • Tiffany
  • Miss Piggy
  • Harmony
  • Tinkerbell

Some rose varieties can be harder to get than others, and some come with a designer price tag! When choosing your wedding flowers, the best thing to do is show your florists the colours and shapes you like best and let them work their magic. You may have your heart set on David Austin, but can't justify the price- trusting your florist to find the best alternative for you will mean much less stress and less cost.
