Creating an Impact
Period & Location: December, The Beacon, Tunbridge Wells
Design & Brief: Combining a love of rich Autumn colours with a nod to the Christmas season.
Scottish heritage with ann the boys in blue and green tartan kilts, so needed a colour scheme to compliment these beautifully.
Colour Scheme: We settled on shades of Royal Blue, Rust, Cream and touches of Burgundy with lots of greenery. The couple loved texture and movement, and was drawn to us by our 'bouncy' style of bouquets.

With all our couples we will discuss ways to make the maximum amount of impact with the budget you have to work with. Even with big budgets, it is in our interest to show you how you can re-use arrangements throughout the day to make the most of them. Not only is this better for the environment, but we pour our heart and soul into every design- we want it to be enjoyed!
For Charis & Mike, they really wanted to make an impact on their church ceremony. We suggested that they have 'aisle meadows' which are floor arrangements placed down the aisel, and 2 large pedestals to frame the ceremony. We then reccomended that the aisle meadows be taken over to The Beacon and placed at the ends of their long trestle tables. Not only did this make the most of the arrangements, but it meant they could keep their table decor fairly simple, as they already had a large floral impact in the room.
The pedestals were also moved to provide a welcome entrance to the marquee, and we decorated the tables lightly with scatterings of winter foliage, pine cones and dried fruits- to tie everything together.
