Everyone is different in their knowledge of flowers, budget or what they are looking for, and we meet with couples at all different stages of their wedding planning.
Whether you are a walking floral encyclopaedia or you don’t know your roses from your tulips we are happy and excited to talk you through every potential bloom and leaf until we both have a clear picture of what you want.
We provide a comprehensive service, from our initial free consultation through to delivery. We can discuss flower arrangements with our clients at a convenient place for them- either over the phone/ by email, at the venue itself, or at a local coffee shop- we’re buying! Planning the flowers is exciting- we want this process to be as enjoyable and stress- free as possible.
Typically, we will meet for an initial consultation (free of course), between 6 months - a year before the wedding (although we have catered to couples calling mere hours before the service!).
During this initial meeting, we will go over your very basic ideas. We will get an idea for your overall colour scheme, theme and style. We will use this time to find out what flowers you love, (and what flowers you really don’t)!
We will also get an idea of the number of arrangements you need, in terms of bridesmaids, tables, buttonholes and additional venue flowers you may be interested in like archways.
There is no time limit on these meetings, as its a very important start to the planning, and a good way for us to see what your ‘ideal dream wedding’ will look like.
We will spend the next few months or weeks finalising all your ideas with ours, meeting again if required, until you are completely happy with the order and the price. Your final balance will be paid a month before the wedding, at which time final decisions all need to be made. After the balance is paid, we will order your flowers and any containers you need us to buy.
On the day of the wedding, we will have pre-arranged with you what items need to be delivered where and for what time. So you can relax, sip on a Bucks Fizz and enjoy the morning confident that everything will be set up to perfection when you arrive!
